I’ll be attending the Thought Bubble convention in Leeds on Saturday 21st November, sketching, selling artwork, giving away some freebies and hosting a panel.
Tuesday 24th November I’ll be talking at Teeside University and giving a live digital inking and colouring demonstration.
Then Saturday 5th December I’ll be signing copies of the new Beano Annual as well as sketching at Guisborough Bookshop (my ‘local’) in Cleveland between 11am and 1pm.

Out now from Classical Comics is their latest Shakespeare adaptation, The Tempest. It is available in the usual three versions of original, plain and quick text. Featuring artwork by Jon Haward and Gary Erskine, with colours and letters by me, this is a feast for the eyes as well as the mind. I’ve just finished the strip for next year’s annual and have plans for the next one, as long as the editor still wants a Billy strip from me!
I’ll have a table at this year’s International Comics Show for the first time, displaying and selling original art from 2000AD, Sonic the Comic and others (at very reasonable prices!), as well as previews of some new work. My planned book won’t be ready by then as I have a ton of work to do before the end of the month, but I’ll be sketching, looking at artwork, chatting, whatever!
